Zona started in Eugene Oregon in the early 70's. I have moved a few times, with stores for a while in Bend Or., Tucson AZ. and Seattle WA. In 1995 I returned to Eugene and opened my last shop. In 2010 I closed the shop and my focus is now on holding a Trunk Show twice a year in Eugene. Over the years I have used a lovely variety of Rayon, Tencel, cotton and linen fabrics, always cellulose, natural fibers. Today we are still using those types of fabrics, and my favorite is the Tencel for the everyday clothing that you reach for in your closet. I also buy a wide variety of manufacturers’ remnants of unique fabrics to get a diverse selection of pretty blouses, skirts and jackets. I over dye some fabrics, others I just pre-shrink because they are a beautiful print or solid weave. These fabrics aren’t always on the website, because they are in limited quantity. Over the years I have developed a line of women's clothing that is casually stylish, flattering, easy to pack and is machine wash and dryable. I design, sew and garment dye Zona Clothes using the best fabrics I can find.
